Plastikinė šviesolaidinė optika (POF) yra naudojama automobiliuose ir pramoninių staklių valdyme. 1,0mm plastikinė šviesolaidinė optika yra pagaminta iš PMMA (akrilo), bendrosios paskirties dervos ir fluorintų polimerų,kaip apsaugos medžiagų.

HFBR to HFBR Simplex Plastic Optical Fiber POF Patch Cord

Four connector styles are available for termination of plastic optical fiber: simplex, simplex latching, duplex and duplex latching. All connectors provide a snap-in action when mated to versatile link components. Simplex connectors are color coded to facilitate identification of transmitter and receiver connections. Duplex connectors are keyed so that proper orientation is ensured during insertion. If the POF cable or connector will be used at extreme operating temperatures or experience frequent and wide temperature cycling effects, the cable/connector attachment can be strengthened with an RTV adhesive.

This patch cord series utilizes plastic optical fiber and is recommended for short distance applications such as those inside cabinets or where they will not be subject to physical abuse or exposure to chemicals. Patch cord consists of a UL-rated fiber cable with industry-standard 1.0 mm optical core/cladding surrounded by a chlorinated polyethylene jacket terminated with all stainless steel SMA 905 connectors. 2.KEITIKLIAI PLASTIKINĖ OPTIKA POF-STIKLO PLUOŠTO OPTIKA

2.1.Keitiklis POF-vienamodė optika ULTIMODE POF-100SC.

The optical media converter ULTIMODE POF-100SC changes the signal from a glass fiber network (two single-mode fibers) to that of POF (Plastic Optical Fiber) optical network (100 Mb/s), and vice versa.

The optical media converter ULTIMODE POF-100SC changes the signal from a glass fiber network (usually FTTH system) to that of POF (Plastic Optical Fiber) optical network (100 Mb/s) and vice versa. The media converter is equipped with two SC connectors (for transmitting and receiving data through a pair of single-mode fibers), and one Optolock connector. In the case of the glass network, the maximum transmission distance is 20 km (performed in the second transmission window - 1310 nm). The signals in POF network can be transmitted over distances up to 100 m. The media converter is fully compatible with IEEE 802.3u (100Base-FX) standard. The installation is very simple (Plug and Play). The LEDs located on the device provide information on the current operating status of the device.

The media converter uses OptoLock connector that allows for easy installation of plastic optical fibers without special tools. The procedure is safe due to operating parameters and the fact that the light (650 nm) is visible to the human eye. The maximum transmission distance is 100 m.

The decisive advantage of POF cables is their small size. The external diameter of one fiber is only 2.2 mm, which makes it easy to hide it behind skirting boards and pull through conduits. Plastic optical fibers can be installed by anyone - the installation is simpler and quicker than in the case of coaxial or twisted pair cables. All optical fibers are immune to electromagnetic interference and pulses.
